It concerns me that as a society we are so quick to rush to be offended on somebody else's behalf, we don't stop to question what we're doing or where all this is heading. I understand that, but when you have a kaleidoscope of personalities and views, one has to be careful......The reader does not always see through the same lens as the writer, I am sure we are aware of that. I think it is always wise to steer clear of tragedy....even if humour is involved....it can easily be misinterpreted. "One mans meat is another mans poison" as they say. It does, yes. If we want to be able to play in Europe and domestically with any chance of success, we'll need a pool of talent to choose from. I think twenty is probably overstating it - I think it's doable with 15 players who are first team quality, as any more than that and you'll have to deal with players who aren't happy with their game time. The impatient fan in me would love to see him on the bench for a cameo however brief though, no matter how unlikely or wise it would be to actually happen.
