MaVilla
Another good signing. Add that to the 4 year contract for hourihane, and the extension for Elmo, some deals these.

Hourihane and AEM will be back to being decent championship players next season, don't think it's something to criticise the club for. Didn't want Drinkwater, his off field antics in last two years said it all and been awful in pretty much all the games he played. Good riddance.
dudevillaisnice
On a side note what a terrible signing this had been, worst thing is the majority could see it coming. Same mistakes over and over again.

Farlz
Quote Aston Villa are considering ending Danny Drinkwater's loan spell after the midfielder was involved in a violent altercation with team-mate Jota. Sportsmail sources claim Drinkwater, who joined Villa on loan until the end of the season in January, headbutted Jota in training on Monday during an angry exchange with his colleague. The flashpoint leaves the 30-year-old's stint at Villa Park in serious jeopardy, with club officials said to be giving serious consideration to cutting short his spell in the Midlands. It is understood talks with regards to Drinkwater's future took place on Tuesday, but a final decision on whether he returns to Chelsea is yet to be made. He is also likely to face disciplinary action from Villa in form of a heavy fine
VillaChris
He was still on the bench last night so don't think the Monday bit is accurate. Guy is out of control tbh. Needs some time away from football and some outside help if he's reacting to disagreements in training by attacking team mates.
