A handful of average performances played out of position for a new team doesn't suddenly make him crap. Since when has a proven Premier League player that was signed for 10.2M not become good enough for a team that until last weekend were the worst fans had seen in years. We ain't even buying him. I think a lot of people of people will disagree with this but I reckon most people (myself very much included) largely build their opinions on players based on what others say about them, whether they've seen them play a lot or not.
