Interesting listen. Jon Ronson (not sure how folks feel about him on here) goes back to the beginning of the evangelical anti-abortion movement.

Spoiler alert: They weren't really that bothered about it and it wasn't an issue. Then someone with ulterior motives came along, made it a thing and now we are where we are.

Yes. And if they actually had a proper representative voting system they wouldn't have this problem as the democrats would win every time or until the republicans started to be sane again.
