Jareth Posted November 5, 2017 VT Supporter Share Posted November 5, 2017 Too many trademark aimless high balls lobbed forwards and slightly diagonal but ultimately turfing possession back. I would hope Taylor can come back now.

mikeyp102
Yesterday when Terry went off, Hutton could've gone cb and Taylor Lb. would've helped Taylor get match fit and obviously more mobile than samba

Sorry but that is false. Up until Taylor's suspension Hutton hasn't been playing. Its not a move I'd do in a starting game, but yesterday, it could've worked without bringing on samba
TRO
I like Hutton....but feel like I shouldn't. i think he epitimises many players in our squad......good at somethings and not in others. Edited November 5, 2017 by TRO

He has been treated quite badly by various managers and the club yet has always given100+% effort and during some of the darker times has looked like the only player who cared. OK, he lacks quite a lot on the skill side but I don’t think you can question his consistent effort. Nigel Posted November 10, 2017 VT Supporter Share Posted November 10, 2017 At least with him in the side we look a bit stronger in the squad left back position as we now have a proper left back as back up. It's almost genious!

Popular Post HanoiVillan
It's no surprise that a majority of fans at the ground like Hutton. This is a club that has been cursed with a surfeit of wage-stealing good-for-nothings in recent years (Ireland, N'Zogbia, late-vintage Gabby, Richards, Lescott, I could go on) and so to see a player obviously give his all and leave it on the pitch every week is a refreshing change. I suspect it's not only Bruce who would want someone like Hutton around the squad in this division. 5

markavfc40
He is having a very good season and loves the challenge of keeping his first 11 place. He has never given less than 100% and once again tonight he gave his all. One of only a few who could say that unfortunately.
Vive_La_Villa
Played well again tonight and deserves to keep his place. Fair play to him. For a second I thought he had done a 2 footed challenge though and was about to get sent off. But nobody made anything of it so I must have just saw it wrong.
