The truth is we have no idea what it is or if it even exists but I’m sure his agent would have ensured he had one just in case the project goes tits up at villa, surely he’s worth at least the same fee as Coutinho was 3 - 4 years ago around the £120m mark. It's exhausting. For what it's worth, I have a feeling he'll stay. Already confirmed he wants to stay while we're progressing, he's already said in interviews they hoped to be mid table this season (and he signed a new contract with those expectations), so why would he push for a move. Not to mention getting an England call up. When he's been injured for a third of the season, the notion of a transfer becomes pretty laughable to me. WooJung Posted May 4, 2021 Share Posted May 4, 2021 I think it's reasonable to believe he'll give us at least another year, he signed a 5 year deal last year knowing it was quite unlikely we would finish high enough to play European football next season, which we most likely won't be. Regardless, we've still had an overall good season desire 2021 form, and that's with him missing about a third of it. If we sign the right players in the summer we can be very competitive next season, and if we fail to achieve European football then it would be fair for him to look elsewhere. If he leaves this summer it doesn't really make much sense for him to have signed the new deal in September.
