Popular Post WooJung
Assist vs Luton, goal Vs Ajax, assist vs west ham, goal and assist last night, it's not just his performances improving, he's delivering, which he absolutely need if we want to secure champions league and/or a trophy this season. wishywashy
It probably was never going to be an easy season for him: he's not a very physical player adapting to a new team, a new league and a new role. But he's wracked up what matters most in goals and assists in spite of these challenges, he has talent in spades, and his left foot is A settled Diaby and Bailey running at defences next season... He finds clever pockets of space too, not just his running into space

Nicho
Thought he was rubbish today, the only positive is that he continues to work hard.

Pulled back by his shirt for a one on one by Gabriel, that's the difference a shit ref can make .

Him and Zaniolo did loads of support for the defence today. Crucial. He's still not back up to that early season form though. Confidence has gone a bit from his game. It will return. Cizzler
Spent four years at Leverkusen... and the year they sell him, they win the title. Not sure a Conference League winner's medal will mitigate that... but could soften it slightly! Edited April 15 by Cizzler
villaglint
I actually saw him make two tackles yesterday. In one game. Think that alone makes it his best performance in a Villa shirt.

To be fair his 5 million a year pay rise probably softens the blow too.
AVFCDAN
Being able to interchange between him and Bailey is exactly where we want to be. On their day world class but can be average aswell, being able to switch back and forth based on who is currently playing better is better for the team and better to keep their motivation levels up. If we can do that across more positions in the team then we are laughing.
PieFacE Posted April 15 VT Supporter Share Posted April 15 Thought he was pretty decent yesterday in terms of us holding our shape and helping out the full backs. However, was a little wasteful going forward.

Hopefully 5th gets CL from this weekend, while we go through against Lille. I guess that would help in our performances and players who need more confidence such as Diaby. The pressure should decrease but with us still playing for 4th, without it being the CL qualifier.

Just to follow this up I watched tonight with a load of Villa fans who all said the same the same about Arsenal. I don’t want to scape goat him but poor again tonight but so were many.
