You know it's the end of a long season when you're debating the likelihood of being able to beat a direct competitor 5 or 6 nil.

On the provisio that another team beats them 7, 8, 9 or 10 nil first 🤣

Looks like Brighton are saving themselves for us, instead of trying to put on a display against the champions, in front of their home crowd. So be it, we can beat whoever they want to put in front of us.

Need a solid 13 nil win for City tonight, leaving us with a solid 2 nil win on Sunday to march into europe 🤣

Oh and 6 injuries tonight and 2 sending off for brighton please 🙏

And ManC get deducted 50 points for FFP infringement.

Seriously, if we manage to win on Sunday and get 61 points, that all we should be concerned about. It will be a fantastic end to an impressive season. In October I was sure Gerrard was going to get us relegated, that we now fight for a place in Europe is just mind boggling.

Love how Brighton are resting their players for Sunday 😂

Doubt it mate. It’s just rotation as they have been playing  a crazy amount of games in a short space of time. If they  draw or lose today they have nothing to play for Sunday so if we don’t beat them then we don’t really deserve 7th.

The argument seems to be: Would you take Europa Conference League next season, possibly win it to get into the Europa league but finish lower in the league.

Or,

No Europe next season, but guaranteed Champions League spot for the following season?

I’d take option two, but that’s not really a choice we have, is it.
