But we haven't beaten Man Utd at Villa Park since 2009 (the Alan Hansen "kids" match)! 😑 So that's the big one, beating them at home. I do wonder if it will ever happen again! 🤪😬 It might not.

You mean 1996 I think 😁 opening day of the season IIRC.

Maybe we can do the double over them this season, imagine!

Of all the goals we should have scored, that wasn't one of them. Sublime header from Hause, stole victory from 2 dropped points. Well deserved over 90 minutes, we were the much better team.

McGinn MotM.

Watkins needs to wake the **** up and up his game before the Spurs match.

Mike Dean did his best to fix that match and failed. Disgraceful ref.

Yeah I think Ollie is way too desperate to score - needs way more composure.

How could it be offside it was direct from a corner?!

Watkins was in an offside position when the ball came off Hause. He was in front of the keeper but not interfering in play in any way so correct call.

What a result, didn't see the "hand ball" for their inevitable penalty so i cannot fairly comment but would not be at all surprised if it was a ridiculous one as that's how the corruption works. Man Utd in trouble and losing so bring out the dodgy decisions! Happens without fail every single time which is a huge factor in why it's been so long since we beat them. Fortunately for us for once they missed it so we can celebrate a famous win!

So for those who saw it was it a Pen?

Well done the lads though! That makes up for the loss at Watford! We are back on track!!
