January Transfer Window - 2022

Given previous behaviour, standard for Lange would be to go quiet on Bissouma for a bit.  Meanwhile, links start to appear in the press of our admiring glances being made to various DM / Box to Box midfielders across the continent.

So we’ll have to ride out these nonsense links, whilst Brighton have their bluff called that they are prepared to take a massive hit on his value / believe he will sign a new contract.

I’m sure when Gerrard first came in their were reports saying Pau Torres as his cb… do people think he is attainable?

Apparently Spurs had an offer of £60m accepted but he turned them down. His boyhood club, (Villarreal) had qualified for the CL and he wanted to stay with them. They’re still in the competition so I’d say it would be a tricky one, certainly in this window. Then again Spurs could have offer the £60m including £58m Deli Ali, or perhaps he realised that Spurs were…..well very Spursy.

It fit bailey starts alongside buendia and coutinho with ings up top , everything else i agree with ... we have way too many players now!

Bar 1 goal Bailey hasn't been amazing and certainly doesn't walk into the team when fit again. Not sure Gerrard will be a fan of his off the ball work

I'd go for Haidara.

2 years younger than Bissouma and cheaper release clause of 32 mill euro's apparently.

I once checked a Thai bride site out of curiosity. Since then I kept getting ads about Thai relationships popping up. They got so annoying that I ended up marrying a Thai woman just to stop the ads appearing on Internet Explorer.

And you marry long time?

What do the Villatalk Japanese football and Germany Midtable team experts think about Wataru Endo?
They was saying that Kamada was the next GOAT KING Assist king of football during the Grealish saga, and was begging for the signing so wonder what they make of Wataru Endo

I can see the following players leaving the club in the summer to reduce the size of the squad and bring in money.

Eh ghazi

Trez

Davies

Luiz if no new contract

Young taking his badges to be a coach

Wes won't play for us again

Fred gilbert

That brings in 60 million if luiz goes.

The likes of nakamba and hause I think we keep, wages are the lower end of the scale and attitudes are good and both accept their role at the club with good grace.

Targett is going to stay I feel and is great back up,

Much as I like fred, I think hayden is next years right back or cover.

I would guess that saves 150k pw at least in wages

If we sign Bissouma for example, do we really need JJ, Luiz, McGinn, Nakamba, Sanson. We have Coutinho and Chukwuemeka who can play in midfield and we've a wealth of talent coming through in Aaron Ramsey and Iroegbunam. It might make sense to sell Luiz if no contract is signed.

We need that new CB and one to displace Mings or Konsa if possible. We should be good then

Traore/Trez/AEG/Guilbert/Wesley all sold or loaned. Full pre season and we shoot for the top 6 from the get go

That's what you are meant to do isn't it. The instructions say 'Clear your cash(e)'

We should have been prioritising a right footed centre back all window. People said No get a DM as Konsa wont get suspended or injured 🙄

how do you know we are not ? I would say the second Axel went we would have been looking for the right player.

Given the need to avoid a bloated squad and to balance the books for ffp I wouldn't be against letting luiz go if we get a proper number 6 in. Would be tempting to keep keep him to help coutinho integrate but I think he has plateau'd a bit performance wise. Granted this is probably a positional thing but I probably prefer most of our number 8 alternatives above him if we do get in a specialist dm

We need 6 Senior players for the middle as we play with 3 and the signals are we want 2 senior players for each position. Youth( under 21) don't count towards squad size.

We also have klasnic or however its spealt.

The dead wood or those who have served us well but are not improving will be released.

I would have added traore to the list but I think he will get another chance, depending on how much we need to shift for squad size and financial reasons,  due to not being able to get him on board due to injury and having that truly wild card on the bench but I can't see him starting many games due to how he plays.
