There were a few moments when Fabinho who is one of the strongest bounced off him. Same with Van Dijk. Oh and Van Dijk - that's what we do. The problem is that Connor would never have been in the position to make that shot. He would never have made that run in the box that Barkley made for that chance. Our midfield 3 of Hourihane, McGinn, & Dougie has McGinn being the furthest forward, Connor the box to box type, and Douglas Luiz as the holding player. Barkley's addition has shuffled their roles around a bit, in that he was the furthest forward and McGinn dropped back into the box to box role.
