Ingram85
Fair play to him, played well and scored and shut me up. Hope he gets a few more goals now and his confidence sky rockets.
UpTheVilla26
Me and my lad were laughing at his goal. It was like watching someone play FIFA, smashing the shoot button over and over. There is something likeable about Ollie, I've wanted him to do well here and hopefully that gives him some much needed confidence. He's deffo better used coming in off the flank than the spearhead of the attack.
Don_Simon
He is an abomination when finishing. But works harder than I think I've seen someone work. He cannot play up front, but when playing against a team who will have lots of possession he's a useful outlet.

Delphinho123
He’s never going to be a technical, flashy wide player but he gives you pace, strength and work rate. His finishing is poor though, Jesus.

birdman
If he grabs a few more goals he'll relax and have the confidence to actually think about where he is shooting the ball. Super glad he scored as I'm bored with myself giving him flak!
Tayls
Still got a lot to do to win fans over. Putting the ball in the net is a good start.
Popular Post Nigel Posted October 23, 2022 VT Supporter Popular Post Share Posted October 23, 2022 Really lovely moment at the end of the game when he walked over to the brentford fans and gave a hug to a young lad in the crowd. Both sets of fans applauded him. Seems like a really good guy

Through the club Ollie had become a friend of the family and so it was difficult for all involved when he left for Villa. 7

Incredible what 2 days of actual coaching can do to a player after a year of none
MrSmirch
Happy for him but he needs to find the 50% finisher version of himself. Christ I miss Benteke.

Tomaszk
Just noticed he heads it just before the finish and it really makes me laugh. A beautiful, ugly goal.
Sulberto21
Ball control was much better today and linked up very well. I think playing on the wing will be better for him as it doesn’t get congested out there so he’ll get a little bit more time.

It's so nice how supportive Ings and Ollie are of each other, it really is. So before today they'd both only scored one goal all season... When Ollie scored, Ings' reaction was like 'yeah! I really understand and care about how important that goal is for you and I'm genuinely really happy for you'.

I reckon Ings has seen enough of Ollie that he doesn’t think his position as the designated clinical finisher is under threat any more It’s good to see the both of them playing well together anyway.
