What on earth was Norwood thinking letting that run across him?

Keane and Souness were very critical for him at halftime. He’s just been taken off, assuming being at fault for their 2nd and 3rd will factor in that.

Dont understand why they havent taken him out yet. He is a 2/10 every week, getting his angles wrong, flapping, misjudging, clattering defenders, racing off his line, cant save anything.  The defence have no faith in him and makes them look nervous. The blokes a hologram

Their best signing was Ollie Burke on a free transfer, he can't score but is at least dangerous. Every other penny has been wasted. Brewster looks a mile away from being even half decent at this level. A lot are critical of Keinan Davis but he looks much more of a Premier League player.

I've been watching for the last 20 minutes or so. Is Brewster even playing?

He’s only 22 and you have to imagine with this kind of form he’s going to be another Butland

Even that is generous. Butland was good before he crocked his ankle. I've never seen anything in Ramsdale. Not big, not commanding, doesn't catch, not agile, poor with his feet.

Spurs really is a free hit.

Those are not the games they are expecting getting a result

They actually won 3-1 v them in July.

I actually don't think they played that badly today, just conceded at the wrong times. Given Spurs's recent record would've been interesting finish if they'd kept it to 2-1.

Their only target really now is getting to 20 points and avoiding being one of worst ever top flight teams. I can see them beating likes of Palace and Brighton at home so still possible.

the transfers since promotion have been horrendous not just these 2, McBurnie 20 million, Berge 22 million, Freeman and Robinson arent even at the club anymore

The better players they have are the ones that got them promoted which isnt a great sign

Berge is a good player, the rest are poor.

to be fair, brewster was as much of a gamble as watkins was for us, and eze for palace. proven only at championship level, never any guarantees they'll work out

Was Brewster proven in the Championship?

Sort of. He scored a load of goals in half a season and was signed on the back of that. Bit like Andy Carroll having a good half a season and Liverpool pissing money on him.
