Along the lines of we have so much competition for places in central midfield that its tough to break into the team, but thats his issue because its the club before the player every time. And thats for a player so much more advanced than their Carney. They will have promised everything , just to get him in the club with no intention of actually following through on those promises. I think as a footballer and the options are 1) Rich and playing first team football and 2) Richer than 1) but not even getting on the first team bench the financial side of things will become less important over time.
