I'm not sure it was the right decision for him, but at the time Chelsea were far better than us, he's a Chelsea fan, and presumably they were offering him more football than we were (whether that came to pass is a different matter) I'd have liked him to stay, he seemed to have potential and was highly rated, but can't say I was invested enough to care that much.
