Looks like pace is a major priority which it had to be; wonder if DS and CS see us being more of a counter attacking team this season? Our counter attacks were painful last season. So many times someone would break away (usually Jack) and hardly anyone would get up to support him so he'd have to check back, hold onto the ball for a few more seconds and by the time we had more options the opposition had 7-8 behind the ball. Only decent counter attack I could remember last season was the Arsenal chance and of course Davis missed it so we need to be far better at that if we're to get close to the top half. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

At Ajax 20 goals in 70 games, Traore was there in 16/17 with 9 goals in 24 and perhaps was keeping AEG out of the team given he was sold to Lille in January 2017. Traore also had a much better scoring rate in France. Rashica is the best of them all but getting him and Traore would be a real statement of intent as it would suddenly give us plenty of more proven options at euro level in final third. 3 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
