We regularly played him as a loan DM and that leaves him totally exposed when he inevitably wins the ball. He's totally capable of reading the game and winning the ball in the PL, and keeping possession with a simple layoff. He never had the option of a simple layoff playing for us. Because he had played so little football he needed to be given the spotlight and a run of games. He was awesome in those 2 months under Gerrard before he got injured. MaVilla Posted May 1, 2023 Share Posted May 1, 2023 seems to be doing well at Luton for sure, very capable but basic DM, a top level Champ DM, or maybe a low level PL DM.
