Tyrone Mings

Looks distracted to me. He got caught in an unnecessary tangle early on in the 2nd half.

Him dawdling on the ball seems to happen every match - the variable is whether the opposition convert the chance.

Offside or not (it was btw) it feels like this could have been so easily avoided. Once again.

It looks like he's regressing as a player and Hause has every right to go knock on Deano's door and ask a few questions.

He's just not good enough at the moment. It wasn't one mistake, it was 3.

  • Suicidal backpass to Konsa in the box that fell short.
  • Narrowly avoided scoring an own goal.
  • Then the actual goal.

The errors are far too frequent, he needs to be benched IMO. Seriously had enough of how careless he is in possession, and the ref's decision shouldn't distract from the fact Mings should play to the whistle and know who's around him. .

He brought it down because he was offside.

And I'm telling you right now if Watkins tackled Stones that fat mess in the middle wouldn't have been able to blow his whistle fast enough.

No doubt but it’s still an error by Mings as Ferdinand just said and he never ever learns.

Mr. Brain afk

Switches off minimum 2 times a match. Yes he's played a huge part in our improvement over the last couple of seasons but to be honest he's lower-mid table standard at best. Top  6 players don't make that many unforced errors and give away avoidable, cheap goals.

It’s difficult, because for how many years have we struggled with players who panic in defensive situations that end up costing us goals or just giving the ball away again. We have probably worked hard to establish a calm approach to remove those errors, but it appears that it’s perhaps too damn casual and it works against us anyway.
we can’t catch a break!

What's the error?

He hasn't even brought the ball down before the bloke appearing from offside tackles him.

This is a **** joke. Happens every game this scenario and as soon as the player makes a move they flag.

genuinely heroic for most of the game even if he had a few skewed clearances... then switches off for their offside goal.

But our midfield just left our defence to it for 90mins, we were always going to concede eventually when you give a side like City 90% of the attacking possession.
