villalad21
Been a much better player post Grealish!
Okonokos
I just bloody love the guy. Genuinely wouldn't swap him for anyone. He's so good when played further forward so I think 3 in the middle is the way to go this season. Still my bet for player of the season this year.
ferguson1
Looks to be a little leaner and fitter right now than last season, where I was worried that he was bulking up. He’ll always try the odd hollywood pass that won’t come off but his harassing and pressing is needed in this side.

Played a superb ball into El Ghazi, who then ballsed it up

birdman
Super John McGinn. That is all!
Delphinho123
If we can get a decent no. 6 behind him and Ramsey then that ain’t a bad midfield. I still think we’ll need to replace McGinn if we want to break the top 6.
villan-scott Posted August 21, 2021 VT Supporter Share Posted August 21, 2021 Very good today. Getting back to his best it feels like. Also, taking the majority of our set pieces with decent delivery which was intriguing.

Made In Aston
Last week everyone on here was clamouring for a repacement as he 'wasn't good enough'. This week he is the messiah. O'leary was right.
Delphinho123
Better today. Much better. Be interesting to see him fight it out with Sanson, Ramsey etc.

Maybe the new coach identifying something that was here all along. I'd have expected Young to take most while in the team.

Buendia isn't as good as you thought and Ings wasn't good besides goal. Have I missed anything? 2
troon_villan
Just me or does he look in great shape? Sounds daft highlighting that considering he's a Premier League 'baller but I mean he's in noticeably better shape than he's always been? Chip ban? WooJung
He's so much better playing the 8 role than the 6 role. Great game, he's my man of the match with Ramsey and Mings as close seconds

bannedfromHandV
Perhaps he’s felt a need to step up and take more responsibility in the absence of Grealish, has played well in both games thus far and my MoTM today.
