sne
First name on the line-up as far as I am concerned (every time we play Leicester in a semi-final) What a game! Take a bow son.

Davkaus
There's a really good keeper in there if we can keep his confidence up. He has to play the final.
jacketspuds
Can we just tell him that every game is a cup game? 1
Chindie Posted January 28, 2020 VT Supporter Share Posted January 28, 2020 Just brilliant saves from him all night. He's never going to be a great keeper but his positioning is decent and he's got a knack of getting a finger tip save that is just good enough.
KHV
Nylands biggest problem is that if he makes an error he completely crumbles If he makes a couple of good stops early doors and is confident he looks immense

Davkaus
Him jumping up and down and chanting while being mobbed by fans might be one of my favourite moments of the night.
Johnnyp
Fantastic performance. Has to start the final even if Reina starts saving shots Higuita style between now and Wembley.
AVTuco Posted January 28, 2020 VT Supporter Share Posted January 28, 2020 So great today. He's not consistent though, black or white only.
Dave-R
Yeah deffo deserves MOTM, brilliant today he was, let down by defending slip ups I thought.
Keener window-cleaner
The three saves in the first 10 mins and then the save where he palmed the ball on the crossbar, my god!!! I'm perhaps overreacting but was that game the best performance we have seen from a Villa keeper?
LondonLax
Saving long range shots is impressive to watch but only one part of the job of a keeper. I’m really pleased for the guy because he was getting a lot of unfair stick after Man City but Reina should always play when fit, especially in such a high profile/high pressure match as a Wembley cup final. I still to this day regard Spinks save from Kanchelskis in that brilliant game at Villa park years ago as one of the best saves ever but Nyland's one handed stop tonight early doors was certainly up there. Vive_La_Villa
I told you all the prophecy was foretold. You didn’t believe me did you?! edit: his work is done.
