I don’t think he was ever given the skills to succeed as a professional footballer: his form has dipped and he piles on the pounds. I totally agree, i was using that as an example of how bizarre the section of our support that like Hogan are there has never been a player that a section of fans have backed to ridiculous lengths with little to no reason for it, they've made excuse after excuse for him. Then when you consider Conor Hourihane only has to have a bad 10 minutes and he gets absolute slammed despite all the good he's done since we signed him. He was good at Rochdale in league 1 before he went to Brentford too. 30 game spell at Brentford was basically his entire career at Brentford. Seemed to have suffered some serious injuries back in his first 2 seasons at Brentford which probably explains why he barely played for them back then so its not like he was just shit back during those first 2 seasons with Brentford either.
