With Wyness suspended, who takes care of the day to day business at the club? Can't imagine Tony doing it from China, with the time difference and all.

1 fast-track Excel course for Micah!

Allegedly suspended by Xia for looking for potential investment into the club from outside sources without informing Xia of what he was doing.

In fairness, football and football players was never his business - he was the football club sale equivalent of an estate agent that people seem to have confused with an architect. He'd be the right person to bring in if Xia was selling the football club under normal circumstances, but he'll never be a CEO.

Those three above are costing us £6m a year. I have a horrible feeling that's half our wage budget!

Suspended has a sinister overtone, if it was because he has been a complete outright failure he would be sacked, which is what would have happened if he had otherwise been following the straight and narrow and was ‘only’ useless. This suggests criminality or breach of contract?

We are the new disaster club, read Leeds, Portsmouth, Rangers etc. The few quality players will want out, no half decent player will want to join us.

This is what happens when clueless foreigners with money entrust “football people” to look after their investment.

It is said Wyness, in his duty to find financial alternatives, was trying to raise funds through minor investors but Xia reacted badly to advice and temporarily dismissed his top executive.

In an alternative version of events it has been claimed Wyness attempting to bring together a consortium to buy the club without Xia’s prior knowledge. The Chinese businessman then found out and acted.
