if you look at the run he makes for the first goal against baggies (cup game) he creates the space for delph too, pulling 2 defenders with his run, not just about   scoring and assists. he is aware of what needs to be done in and around the box

Overlooked because he missed, but the bit of movement to make himself open for his chance against Sunderland was top class.

Just a double movement forwards then backwards. So simple but no one else in our team moves in the box. Under Lambert, we were so bloody static.

Was just trying too hard today. The above post is a bit harsh.

He wasn't, he was playing for himself.

All well and good when you are playing for Swansea in the Championship but you need to fit into a system at the highest level.

His all round game is poor, and that's why he has never been a PL regular

Was never going to be at 100% sharpness (consistently) after so long without playing at this level. Very disappointing today though, had numerous opportunities to create or score.

Christ some of these posts...

Just really wanted a goal today, which I can understand with it being against Swansea. Definitely his worst performance for us, sure he'll bounce back though.

Its nice that there are such supporting and understanding people like you in the world...

It seems, however, that the vast majority of us wanted a Villa win... From Sinclair, Benteke or off the arse of a Swansea player... Considering this great club is allowing him to play football and is probably paying his wages, maybe he should take his head out of his arse and think about the bigger picture instead of how great HE would look if he scored...
