Mr_Dogg
No PL team will touch him, US bound or the glue factory. I think you'd be surprised who'd take him if they could.

AVFCforever1991
May as keep him till the end of the season, just in case we get injuries. Or we could try and sell in Jan, and buy someone to replace him..
AndyBM
well if the beginning of this thread is to go by, stoke are intrested, and no doubt a few london clubs like fulham or qpr, or maybe even sunderland would take him off our hands
coda
I think the thread title needs changing. It tantalises me when I read it.
Zatman
but i do think we need to replace him, actually i think it would of been better to sell dunne at the time when we sold cuellar, but kept cuellar instead he is out of contract in summer and be injured by then, plus Cuellar was released and if you have watched Sunderland recently he has been dreadful
TrentVilla Posted December 16, 2012 Moderator Share Posted December 16, 2012 No chance of anyone taking him in January.
Rodders
Sunderland might have a look. Oneill + their defence is a bit dodgy.
HongKongVillan Posted December 16, 2012 VT Supporter Share Posted December 16, 2012 His best moment in a villa shirt is when he is inside that wheelie bin. To think this guy actually captained this club just makes me sick
sne
Sunderland might have a look. Oneill + their defence is a bit dodgy. Think we have a bigger chance of flogging Warnock or Hutton to them. O'Neill played with Cuellar and Titus Bramble on either side of defence at United this saturday...
Condimentalist
Bit harsh IMO. He was great for us in his first season and has been patchy since, largely because of injury problems. Can't see him getting back in the side though unless there are injuries and he'll obviously be off in the summer.
TrentVilla Posted December 16, 2012 Moderator Share Posted December 16, 2012 He was pretty good for 2/3 rd's of his first season. Since then he has been a total waste of money. well if the beginning of this thread is to go by, stoke are intrested, and no doubt a few london clubs like fulham or qpr, or maybe even sunderland would take him off our hands Their supposed interest dates back to the summer but nothing materialised, there is nothing to suggest tey or anyone else is interested now. AndyBM
been injured along time now, unless its a broken bone, i dont believe in 'injuries' this long, players need to man up but saying that, i dont know what dunnes injury is, lol

markavfc40
Clearly not a lot of fans cup of tea but we could certainly do with his experience at the moment. It is perhaps a sad indictment of the over all quality of our centre backs that we need him. For what its worth though I don't think he will kick a ball for us again. With that in mind and Vlaar also out we need to sign at least one experienced centre back in January as Herd, Baker and Clark are a shambles at times and need guidance. Even in games we have won recently - Liverpool and Norwich we could have conceded far more goals in both. VillanousOne
i genuinely think he isn't that bad, he looked ok when beside Cuellar in defence - just terrible when next to Max Branning. He would be great in back three with Vlaar and Baker or Clark. we could sure do with him and Vlaar right now.
