I still have no clue why they prioritized Grealish over striker when their main striker left.

They had to. Jacks 100m release clause was up on 8th August.

Of course his 100mill release clause and termination date was legally confidential but somehow City knew how much to bid and by what date 🤔

The fact they've already bid for Kane (and been rejected) means they have every intention of spending 100mill+ on a striker. Grealish being first is inconsequential, they just had a deadline.

thats three defeats in a row and no goals scored and 5 losses in 7, its time for Pep to buy a striker and show he is not a chequebook coach

Prepare for the Pep paradox.

Used to rate Pep highly,, but he is becoming unbearable. "Grealish only cost us 40 million". What bullcrap, an now they are obviously gonna find 120-150 million for Kane.

Also, it kills me more over Grealish knowing 'THEY DID NOT NEED HIM'. It was obviously just to raise the profile of that awful club more than anything.

Unless Jack Harrison was sold for £60m I highly doubt it. Last season they also bought Dias/Torres/Ake for like £120m. Sold Sane for £40m. So that wouldn’t make sense either.

They've subtly counted the Sane money twice, once when the deal went through and now counting a big chunk of it again because Bayern are paying in installments. It's a load of bollocks and just a weak PR move to desperately try and make it seem less like they're just buying success.

It makes sense for them to try really, owning the club is just a PR/sportwashing move for Abu Dhabi, so it's in their interest to try and make it seem like they play by the same rules as everyone else.

But everyone knows that they don’t…

And nothing is being done about it…

yet their lardarse, illiterate, workshy “fans” in that shithole city with their stupid accents are lauding it thinking that they deserve their success

They will get away with spending another £100m+ fee on Kane. At worst they’ll be investigated again and get another fine that can be paid with change found in the Sheik’s Ferrari.

There is no FFP for them, it’s always been a tool to keep the less rich clubs in check.

You just know there going to spend £100 million plus on Kane at this point and say screw FFP. Honestly given how it went last time I wouldn't blame them.

Football is a crazy game. 😄

If you cheat to win a trophy/medal in sport you should have those titles taken away.

Football is corrupt at the highest level, it just has to be.

It definitely is, just look at FIFA over the years. How many bribes, bungs and bonus payments have been handed over to officials over the years. Sepp Blatter wasn’t the first and isn’t the last. Money talks, and that’s all they care about.

Problem is it lines the pockets of the premier League and Sky, so they are not going to help reduce there spending power, no chance.

Buying Kane will be the last straw for us fans of football, an I think all that be done, is the opposing fans boo the life out of them at every game. Sounds petty, but in reality they are buying the game and it's just not fair to other teams.

I suggest we all start buying electric cars. Sooner these petrostates go tits up the better. If places like Abu Dhabi got into any sort of financial worries shit like their sports teams would be kicked to the kerb, and there's no way they're self sustaining.

Just read Pep's comments on the BBC which say 'If we broke the rules, prove it!'

Doesn't really scream "we're innocent"... Looks more like " we know what we've done but you wont be able to show any evidence"

Hope they get roasted.

Scumbags.
