If you are referring to the european knockout league, he's won it more times than any other manager in England.  Twice.

If you are referring to winning the best league in world football, he's done that 3 times in 4 years in England (the Premier League being the world's best league for at least the last 5-6 years), and done it 3 times in 4 years with Barcelona when La Liga was still considered the best league in world football.

Also won multiple titles with Bayern Munich in the Bundasliga.

Name someone with a better record in three different countries.

And how much has he spent achieving this amazing feat? Biggest myth in football

Klopp won the Premier League and the Champs League with zero net spend.

Imagine how much more he'd of won if he'd spent a Billion like Pep.

They're both horribly unpleasant but I guess Klopp must be the better manager.

Just now, Keyblade said:

City's 4th choice CB was the best player of a team that was competing in the same league as them and cost them £40m.

Actually they sold Sane that season so he was technically free, according to Peponomics. And then they received the money for Sane this season so they get to count that money twice

Liverpools net spend World championship is bollocks

They sold their 4th choice keeper for £15m, blagged about £40m out of Bournemouth for a couple of bums, barca inexplicably and laughably paid £140m for a player they didn't even play and then bought the world's most expensive goalkeeper and CB at the time and proclaimed they'd spent £0

If you want to hand out awards for net spending its not klopp that deserves the medal its the guy who negotiates Liverpools sales

He's spent more in 5 years than almost every single club in world football has spent in their entire history. Chequebook manager was coined before the sportwash revolution, this has been more like FM Editor management but IRL

Regardless of how much Fergie spent to spend close on to a billion in 5 years is simply staggering and mentioning Fergie to back up your argument/point smacks of ''my dad's bigger than yours''

Regardless of the spend, nobody can argue with the haul of throphy's, so, in winning so much over a relative short time, sometimes it's good ground yourself and be magnanimous.

This is one of the reasons why so many football fans say that City are now soulless and lack class.

This thread is amusing...

As if they’re struggling to perceive why nobody is over enamoured with them.  It’s lonely up there at the top, especially when you’ve got no one to Lord up your manufactured successes over.

They genuinely think the club and owners are whiter than white and all the negativity is because of a media racket against them.

The same media that desperately pushed all summer for us to surrender our best asset to them.

Genuine question - City get a lot of stick these days for failing to fill their stadium, however they were averaging close to 30K when they were in the third division. Why have they not been able to attract fans with all their superstars and success?

Barca, real Madrid, juve, psg etc

Sky et al diluted football to such an extent and made it so accessible that kids no longer need to glory hunt a PL team

Dad's can get their kids a Villa shirt and a PSG one (if they're loaded obviously...) I think you can push them away from the big 6 here

Messi PSG shirts will sell more than man City grealish ones

Remember there are still more City fans in the city of Manchester than United fans, even after Fergie's successes.

Is that really true or just a myth?
