Demitri_C
He will never be welcomed back by me when you say kro. wont ever play for us again so it’s all good, guess he has to keep the unwashed happy
John
Gary must have hated holding up that shirt and will cringe every time he puts one on. Clearly he must have had no other choice and at least by making this move he will be taking money off them and saving money for us. He remains one of our own and I wish him well with his task of ensuring that the Noses lose their relegation battle this season.

I don't think he 'always has been' shit, since he was pretty universally considered a promising youth prospect. However, I would agree that he hasn't been at our standard - even in this division - for far longer than he was a prospect.

The next Steven Gerrard, I seem to recall from an ex manager......god, they talk some shite at times.....and to think the sums they get paid for talking like that. They are only worth patronising when they wear our shirt.....after that they are just someone else's player

GarethRDR
I trust Gardner's been fully briefed ahead of his mission via Agent Ridgewell's dossier. Edited August 10, 2018 by GarethRDR
choffer Posted August 10, 2018 VT Supporter Share Posted August 10, 2018 Can we move this to Other Football? Surely we don't want someone playing for them dirtying up On-topic and surely he can't come back from this?

He had a severe injury at a crucial stage of his development TRO, who's to say what he might have gone on to achieve if it hadn't happened. I'm not saying he couldn't have come back from it, but he obviously hasn't.

Similarly he's also listed on the OS in the squad: https://www.avfc.co.uk/teams/first-team
Popular Post ciggiesnbeer
Cant we just wish him well? He is our player for a few more years and we got one offer for a loan for him. It happened to be Blues. Wouldnt we all be slating him if he went on strike and refused to go? He is a professional footballer who unlike some other clearings in the woods we have still on the books, leeching money off us, actually is willing to go and play football at another club who will cover some of his wages for us. He might be good for them, keep them up this season and save us a quid or two, who knows he might even change the trajectory of his career. I am fine with that, seems like the best solution to a bad situation. Edited August 10, 2018 by ciggiesnbeer
Davkaus
I can't believe this lad has made a living and stayed on the books all these years based on 'potential'. 26 years old , why the **** did he keep getting new contracts?!
