I maintain that the process of moving house wasn't stressful, except for one day where I had to call up and basically threaten complaints and requests for financial compensation with a load of places (which funnily enough, turned out to be the day that it crossed the line before the actual exchange of contracts). From Wednesday to Sunday I have been working non-stop. Moving things from the old house to the new (driving a Luton van was great fun), painting rooms, putting together flatpack furniture (for the baby due next month), and it's such a good feeling to finally be in. I love my new house, and could see myself here until the kid(s) are grown up, moved out and the wife and I swan off to Wales or somewhere remote to live in a shack with a bucket for a toilet. 11 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
