Popular Post bose
I just don’t understand how some people feel ok by him moving and won’t begrudge him the move. We are finally on our way somewhere, he’s a boyhood fan and living the dream. If NSWE stick to their guns we will be challenging on the top. I’d be furious if he leaves. Would be heartbreaking to see him in a city shirt.

stewiek2
£90m pkus Morgan Rogers. Pep really doesn't want to break that £100m ceiling does he?
hippo
Life goes on. I remember being close to tears as a younger lad when would sold Bruce Rioch to Derby. Its a bit of a pisser - but we have better people running the club than in many years. I'm confident they will get us through this. You could even argue they have already been a tad smart at getting Budenia in - who can play alongside or instead of JG. Onwards.
Popular Post Delphouneso
There's been a lot of talk of us overtaking the likes of Everton, Arsenal, Spurs this season. Spurs aren't being sentimental with Kane, they're not thanking him for all he's done and letting him have a crack at the next level, they're refusing to sell their best player and I'd hope we'd do the same.

The Fun Factory
If he does go we want lots of hard cash up front and no w*nky hand-me downs Stephen Ireland types please. It would be a bit of a gamble for city has has played less than 100 top flight games and he would have to get used to not being the heartbeat of a side. I’m all for a strong Academy but we’ll be fighting relegation if we don’t start bringing some first team players in soon. villan501
Club need to.act quick season starts in a few weeks let's not drag this out and not get sufficient replacements in place. If jack goes we can move forward with brilliant recruitment, but we cannot delay preparing for this season. Obviously the loss of our star player will hurt but not forever life moves on and so does AVFC.

jacketspuds
£120m + Rogers would be ok. I'd be pretty miffed if we accepted £90m + Rogers.

If he moves he becomes a starter for England the following day. Don’t agree , if he stays at Villa he plays if his fit , if he goes to city I’d say his not guaranteed a place . He will have much more game rime at Villa than city to demonstrate his ability. The simple fact Southgate don’t trust him defensively for England is the reason he won’t start for England nothing to do with playing for Villa or city,

TBH I think we're just holding back until the Grealish saga is done one way or another. If he signs a new deal we've got our targets lined up. If City offer enough and we accept we have our targets lined up. We'll be ready to progress either way.
Popular Post Kbdrum88
just get grealish to bodymoor, half an hour of laughing his ass off with mcginn he'll realise he doesn't want to go anywhere and then Wes, Purslow and Nassef will just start writing obscene numbers on a blank contract, before you know it bobs your uncles, fannys your aunt, and agent mcginns wearing a chicken suit 2
