Blacklist on Netflix. It's pretty entertaining so far (first 4 episodes). Reddington is a fun character.

Its good, then it's great, then it's not...

Ran out of ideas and gets a bit daft and ends up flapping about like a fish out of water but at times it's really good and red is brilliant

The wife wants to watch the new series and I can't be bothered

The Night Of is a sensational limited series show. Really good storyline and well acted.

Riz Ahmed and John Tuturro are brilliant in it.

enjoy the rest of it!

He’s been involved in a couple of cracking low budget/indie films recently - one in particular, Sound of Metal is well worth checking out.

The Sisters Brothers (although a bit part) is also worth watching too as is Mogul Mowgli.

Really like him as an actor.

Anyone watch Inside Man on the beeb? It was absolutely ludicrous, preposterous nonsense.

But also strangely gripping. The actions and motivations were nonsense, but it was a well done programme nonetheless.

Watching Welcome to Wrexham episode 2.

Spoiler

Not sure about highlighting the guy with the red card, showing his family and that he's not loaded, showing him sat alone in the dressing room and devastated then saying he's been let go.

Hopefully he got some cash out of the documentary.

Just started on The Offer. 10 part mini series about the making of The Godfather movie and so far it's really good. Every character is a bit ott and cartoonish but it's really fun and the story is great. So far it's quite fast paced which is fine by me.

It has 8.7 on IMDB so hopefully it will stay good.

The Offer – nyskriven ”behind the scenes” om mästerverket Gudfadern – Allente

This was an absolute blast. Easily the best thing I've watched this year, possibly since Chernobyl.

I'd say it's a 9/10

Two episodes into This England (drama on sky set in 2020 detailing Johnson and tory response to Covid. Enjoying it so far even if it is infuriating all over again watching them **** up the response.

stranger than fiction...seriously if dahmer wasnt a true story there'd be some eye rolling at it

making a murderer is still the best IMO and the one that kicked started it all for netflix and its the one that my wife has no interest in

anyone watched the staircase drama on HBO? got that lined up at some point as i liked the documentary, again he's another one where he's just interestingly weird and if it was just a drama im not sure id buy in to him

The HBO Staircase is probably the most graphic thing I've ever watched on TV.  I'm surprised it got past the censors, some of it was very pornographic and the way recreated her dying in a few different scenarios was pretty unsettling.  Decent performances from the actors so worth watching but it's not family viewing.

The Newsreader on the iplayer was very solidly done, enjoyed it.

Very belatedly finished Fargo season 3 too this week as its coming off Netflix on Friday. Another excellent season and David Thewlis - in a surprise to no-one - is magnificent as the baddy

Finished Dahmer. The dad Richard Jenkins was great and it was only now when I checked his name that I realised Shari was Molly Ringwald. She looked familiar all along.

I couldn't stop laughing when he was telling off Dahmer in his late 20s. Reminded me so much of him in the film Stepbrothers.

I don't think there is a Catalina wine mixer in the Dahmer series, but I haven't finished it yet so there's still time.

Perhaps we should have an opposite thread to this...

I stumbled upon "Till Death Us Do Part" and "The Goodies" on some TV channel recently......wow 1970's TV was awful, only managed to watch 5 mins of both......

TISWAS (....now that was the best!)

Watched The Walk In (despite ITV HUB being the worst streaming app ever) and I have to say Stephen Graham is brilliant... again

Probably one of the best British actors in my lifetime.

He is a brilliant actor. Even when he has gone over to the states and been in things like Boardwalk Empire and The Irishman, alongside some great actors, he has more than held his own.
