Or Heparin, or there are a few new anti-coagulants that don't require the kind of monitoring that Warfarin does. Most places use these now. Daft old coots shouting in the night, constant clanging banging and rattling and roasting hot (which I then get told is because I'm unwell and they need to cool me down, but everyone that visits me complains it's too hot). Had to spend a week in hospital earlier in the year and it really hit home what a crisis the NHS are in. Hope you get well soon mate. He had a chunk of time in hospital and they put him on warfarin and the likes. 40 years on and the guy's still an utter pain in the arse and the only reason I put up with him is because 5 minutes before half time at games he slips away and buys coffee and kitkats ahead of the queue.
