Morgan Rogers

When everyone is fit we have an excellent squad. It’s subtle, but Monchi has really added very decent quality and versatility with his signings. Roger’s looks built for the PL and seemingly great business.

That’s a big call to say that he is a better passer of the ball, than Buendia imo.

I have always thought of Buendia as being capable of unlocking any defence.

I am not saying this will always be the case but right now, I think Buendia is a much better footballer.

Buendia is capable of it but is wildly inconsistent. His best through balls are world class but there are also times when his short passes aren't particularly good.

Of course Buendia's a better overall player now as passing is just one aspect of a footballer's game, but Buendia was bought as a ready-made player and cost more than 4 times what Rogers did, so the expectation levels are much higher too.

Complete and utter liability today. Hopefully won’t start again for us this season or we are done for. I see the potential but the kid is too raw. Loan needed next season

One of many that could be highlighted.

Our fanbase is the opposite of supportive at times.

Looks very good but needs to improve his fitness. Faded before he was taken off. A young lad like that should be able for 90 mins.

Conditioning yourself for premier league football is nothing to do with age. In fact most young players struggle. He'll get there.

The same was said about Ramsey.

they way he took the ball, turned, moved, shot, scored.

just pure quality.

if he can develop his wider game to suit Emery, he will be an absolute diamond.

I think we signed him because he's good in tight spaces, and he showed that today with some lovely footwork for the goal. Classy player.

We bought Rogers because Ramsey is the only specialist we have on that left hand side, we needed another option there whether Rogers or someone else, it's an added bonus that he can also play as a No.10 or in that area, so when Ramsey returns, if selected they can both play in the same team. If anything Rogers is more of a threat to Buendia for a place in the starting eleven than Ramsey

I think they bought Rogers with an eye on selling Ramsey in the summer.

If true, given Ramsey's horrendous year of injuries, that will turn out to be a poor strategic decision,

We won't sell below Ramsey's worth and we won't get Ramsey's worth after this washout season.
