i dunno, Bournemouth are an in form side, only 1 loss in 7 (4 wins, 2, draws, 1 loss), and we were lucky to get a point off them earlier in the season.

If we take this game for granted we will be in trouble.

I don’t think anyone is taking it for granted, actually most know it’s going to be really tough with their form and our players being tired. That’s why playing the likes of Tim can help on that matter.

surprised not to see him get a run out today, even to close out the game.

It probably suggests his time with Unai may come to a close soon.

Yep. Think that pretty much confirms it.

Good game, but should have closed Gallagher (who then scores absolute worldie with his weaker foot). Need to learn from that, otherwise great work.

High hopes for Tim, keep on working hard.

Did well tonight got involved,  stuck his head in and got his foot in as well. We may need him to see the season out.

I thought he was absolutely **** dreadful, every other touch was a foul, went hiding for Gallagher's shot, and I'm struggling to think of a single thing he did well.

Pace of the game was too much when he came on, was chasing shadows and generally getting in the way.

Way it's going one more injury and he potentially might have to start a cup final for us so really hope that doesn't overawe him as I think those Emery quotes in March were telling about his mentality. Hasn't grasped things like Rogers has.

He will bulk up but he's got some much needed height that our CM has lacked for a while. If he can develop quickly he'd be a good option for next season, the issue is how often has he come on for the last 15-20 mins in a game we are comfortably winning and he's under less pressure? The lad is always on when we are in the mud, hard learning curve that.

I've been a bit harsh on him today, but I do wonder why we kept him around this season tbh.

He's got more than 20 minutes 3 times all season. He's 20, he'd have been better off having another season in the championship and getting some decent experience in his legs.

Nah, no good giving him a had time on here. Just a kid trying to find his way in the game.

Needs more time. Would rather play Chambers in CDM than Tim at the moment.

Injured first half of the season and I guess Unai wanted to keep him around for squad depth and to see if he's good enough to make an impact here. He's 21 in the summer and while I'd rather keep him it might be another of case of sell with a buy back in order to free up FFP.

I've said it a gazillion times but he's not a specialist DM, previous to him being asked to play there for us recently, he had only ever played as a DM when he had another specialist beside him, this was true of his time at West Brom, our U21s, and at QPR.

His best qualities are his ability to drive forward with the ball and his passing, if he's sold in the summer and the buying team has any sense they will play him as a box-to-box midfielder and he will do well, very well, if we've got any sense we will insist on a buyback clause

I watched him recently for England U20s and he did play as a DM in that game - England age group teams often play non DMs in the DM position, I've seen them play both Aaron Ramsey ad Jimoh-Aloba there - and he wasn't great in that game... except when he got forward, in those moments he was very good

Its funny how we see his performance differently tonight.  I thought he was shockingly poor.  Hes been banging on door for past 2-3 seasons.  Times running out
