I don't know about you mofo's but this signing for me has the potential to be as effective as the sabre toothed prick has been for Scumchester United.

I think I have to readjust my pre season prediction of top 10 to top 7 now just with Buendia alone. All because of his pressing.

It's not surprising to me that Smith mentioned has he's capable as a number 10 too. I think we'll see him in that position quite a lot this season with Traore on the right.

I think there'll be a hell of alot of work in preseason on Traore's defensive work and pressing, tracking back.

I agree.

I think in games against "lesser" opposition where we'll expect to have a lot of the ball we'll play with Jack, Buendia and Traore. Then against better opposition we'll probably go 4-3-3 with Buendia on the right and an extra CM to tighten things up. That's what I'd do at least.

This is just the type of signing that is wonderful to read. Improves the 1st team and flexible for either formation that has been used recently (4-2-3-1/4-3-3) and just sublime.

Getting arsenals “no1 target” is just sheer icing on the cake.

As long as he's an improvement on Traore and El Ghazi then he will have done well and have justified the fee.

Funnily enough those two should improve too especially their defensive work. Watching him train will help them.

Yeah I think that's the plan.

Triee to insert a link but as i have massivr thumbs i will have to explain instead

If you go to utube there is a vid called all strikers would like to receive passes from Emi Buendia.

Make sure you are careful opening it as it is pure porn.

Was trying to think who he reminds me of with his vision. Just dawned on me .

Juan Roman Riquelme.

Watch one after the other. Because Buendia is small its easy to consider other stocky short Argentines but the reality is that he is Riquelme mk 2 in all but stature ... without the freekicks i admit . But with James Milner like workrate to compensate.

Winner winner chicken dinner. We have a true potential superstar  on our books now
