Yes, I personally want more creativity in the side and I am very eager for us to sign both Buendia & De Arrascaeta. Them 2 linking up with Jack and supplying Ollie would be a sight to behold. Others prefer pacy, powerful, explosive players/wingers. I think we need options and without Trez (do not rate, works hard but poor technically, injury was unfortunate) we are short on wingers or WFs as it is. I don’t mind whether we sell or keep El Ghazi, he scores but is poor in our general play and build up… Jack, Buendia, and De Arrascaeta (mainly CAM) can all play on the wing and CAM. That is what I would like to see and they can alternate & interchange positions during the games. To have Traore and Rashica coming off the bench and rotating would be magnificent, I believe Rashica is capable of playing as a striker too. Looked nice on some youtube clips and has some media saying nice things about him and his goal contributions since he moved to Flamengo are just what we need..... But what is the standard of that league? He's 27, why has no one brought him? Once again no one has seen him play, no one watches Brasilian football. If we signed him I would be excited to see if he could transfer that output and youtube skills to our team but as I haven't seen him he isn't the sure thing I would be looking for. It's an hard one to call out I think. While Rashica may of done well where he's at, I'll say the same thing as I did when all the talk of Grealish leaving Villa for a so called top six club started, is that you can never be sure it all translates on. Now we know what we get from Ghazi and Trez and alot of the times it's a messy product but it does bring goals. Now I'm more than just goals and i do believe that Rashica certainly looks more of an all round player than Ghazi and Trez, even if it's only by abit. Rashi certainly feels like it'd be an upgrade but not much of one I don't think. If I'm to be totally honest if we were to get rid of Ghazi and Trezegeut, I'd prefer we go after someone Massive in terms of quality not weight (as someone pointed out the other day so smartly). If we get rid of any of our Wingers we have to step up big time in who we bring back in as there replacement. There's no point bringing someone in like Rashica anymore as I believe we have surpassed that stage and we want better for where we want to head. We need much better of an overall player, point blank if an upgrade is to be then let it be a real kick ass upgrade. Yes i think Ghazi should be sold after next season. I reckon if we did pull the trigger this summer and sold Ghazi and fetched Rashi in, I think it'd be the same story all over again in having an average player filling out the wings. I'm just not sold on Rashica he's done nothing that makes me say yeah he's a shadow of a doubt what we need. to be honest I wouldn't mind one bit if our Club went and found another Watkins type for the Wing, but with plenty of skill, technical ability and who certainly can do what Watkins does which is harass and annoy till he gets the ball. I want our next Winger after Ghazi and Trez to be the type who know how to do things with the ball. He'd have to enjoy going at opposition like Grealish and can make something of a ball. Yet if he can't do anything with the ball he will find away to keep hold of that ball not let go in the final third resulting in loss of possession. As I said I'm more about the support of a Winger than the goals and with the above this Winger would have to know how to feed a lone striker, precise and accurate passing, through the tightest of gaps or actually crossing, somehow delivering the ball without hitting the first man Inthe defence or sending it way over the whole bunch of players. None of our Wingers apart from Grealish can do that although even Jack suffers with delivering the ball from crosses or set pieces and no one apart from Traore can seem to do that part. I would just love a supportive specialist on the Wing if Jack is to go back center. If we could make more chances then more goals should come, in turn though we need our players to attack and be in suitable positions the moment this supportive winger lets loose his delivery. We have struggled very much in games without Jack to make things of the balls that if we want upgrades then the first thing that has always been noticeable is that we need two or three players that can create, if we don't we simply fall short and can't create or score. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

After we sign them pair Why do you want De Arrascseta “more than anyone”? There was a one tweet linking us to him and some fancy YouTube clips. I doubt you’d ever heard of him last month (apologies if wrong). The club may or may not be interested but can we just wait to see if anything more develops before filling endless pages with his name. I love transfer speculation as much as the next person but patience is a virtue and all that. Oh and a big no from me for Rashica based on poor form this season and injuries. Personally I'd look for better quality, but it's VT in a nutshell to be obsessed by a player based on youtube clips. Remember Benrahma was the second coming as well. villaglint Posted May 23, 2021 Share Posted May 23, 2021 (edited) I think everyone accepts we’ll be in the market for two attacking players minimum this summer depending what decision gets made on wesley. One of those players needs to be the creative force to stop the wheels falling of the bus when Jack is injured and stop teams trebbling up on him to stop us when he’s not. Buendia or Arrascieta look like sensible options for that role. The other players in my view needs raw pace. We need to stretch teams and have someone making the runs to open up space for Grealish and whoever else. I thought Traore was that player but he’s more the tricky maverick. But then the more I watched the more I started to see the inconsistencies and then whilst still wanted us to sign him, wasn’t as keen. I don’t think he’s been given a fair chance at West Ham so far. I'm onboard with getting Buendia if the circumstances are right, but Berts stats are a lot better than Buendia's stats when last in the PL.
