There was one of each, and the former was short lived and only a direct result of the latter. In the last 25 years we've experienced more of both endeavours and many more final and semi-final heartbreaks to add. According to him, it's romance when Blues survive relegation, but if we finish 17th it's sterility. That tells you all you need to know about which club is inferior. It's entirely the sort of confused, desperate bilge I'd expect from a fan base that lost the only excitement it had in decades when they got relegated and stopped having the chance to go toe to toe with us. I can just imagine the Birmingham City faithful sat at home in Bordesley Green on a Saturday thinking "I wish we were still in the Prem so we could be on Match of the Day tonight.
