Eligius
I think we will win this 0-2, we have had a cracking start to the season and the players must be high on confidence. If we can get 6 points out of 6 it could set us up nicely for the rest of the season.
MaVilla
this is going to be an interesting game, the old Villa would huff, puff and either draw or lose this. Im hoping for the new Villa..... Edited September 26, 2020 by MaVilla

DevonIsAPlaceOnEarth
All the goals. 0-3 Watkins with the lot. Things are good with Villa at the moment, long may it continue.

StanBalaban
Would quite like to see Davis up front, with Watkins and Traore forming the front three. Grealish, Luiz and McGinn in midfield. Liquid football.
BleedClaretAndBlue
Fulham have a poor backline but are always capable of scoring goals. Mitrovic can be a handful, Mings and Konsa will need to be on it. They like to keep the ball but I think we’ll be a much better side on the counter this season with the injection of pace. We owe them one for the play-off final also, lets not forget. 3 points and a confident performance with signs of this side gelling nicely is what im looking for. Could really do with 6 points on the board going into a tough looking run on paper. 1-2 (Watkins, Grealish)
srsmithusa
2-1 villa, but will feel comfortable and some will feel the score line flatters fulham.
darrenm
Martinez Cash. Konsa. Mings. Targettt Traore McGinn. Douglas. Grealish. Watkins. Davis Is what I'd go. Davis looked really good the other night. Both of them up top would be terrifying for Fulham. We should be able to put a few past these.

I would say that Gabby was surrounded by quality in those days. Milner, Petrov, Young, & Downing (during Stuarts best ever season.) Gabby had a manager that played to his strengths. He was effective at that point, but quality? Nah, not for me.
hong0311
Can we keep our defensive shape together? If we can get two clean sheets out of two I’d be over the moon!

This isn't 1890 anymore, players don't just stand still.

Stratvillan
We dont have the squad depth to play two up top. Same team as last week with Traore for Trez. Would like to see ramsey on the bench, but I'm not sure there's a place for him. (Instead of El Ghazi?)
ferguson1
Martinez Cash Konsa Mings Targett Douglas McGinn Hourihane Traore Watkins Grealish Tuff game this, but more than winnable. Tom Cairney is a good player in the middle and Mitrovic is a handful, but apart from those two I’m not keen on the rest of their team. Would like to see Traore start in place of Trez and Ramsey on the bench as I think he’s good enough. Hard game, but a 0-1 or 1-2 win.
Popular Post John
We have a score to settle here. We have lost our last three games against Fulham, our last five games at Craven Cottage and It has been ten years since we beat them away from home. We need to put all that right tomorrow, but particularly we need to avenge that play-off defeat against them, which after two years, still remains an awfully painful memory. Since that sorrowful play off defeat, we have won one the following year and have pulled off our own "great escape" on the last day of last season to avoid "doing a Fulham!" Our hosts were relegated from the PL following their play-off victory after just one season, they then gained promotion again after just one season back in the Championship and now sit at the bottom of the early league table. Will they soon have the "yo-yo club" tag placed around their necks? At the time of writing, we are in the top half of the table and three points above Fulham. We are unbeaten this season in three league and cup games, we have also kept clean sheets in our last two matches. We were knocked out of the FA Cup last season, albeit with something less than our then usual first XI on duty, by The Cottagers. Overall, we have won 21 and have drawn 21, of the 64 league meetings that there have been between the two clubs, so a win tomorrow would even things up nicely. Winning is a nice habit to get into and we are now unbeaten in our last five league games. Our aim should be to maintain our unbeaten run and what better way to do that than with a win? Just win it for us Villa!
