Indigo Posted March 10, 2022 Share Posted March 10, 2022 I love this fella, granted he's frustrated the life out of me at times this season with his his decision making in the final third but he's clearly working on it and looking like the complete modern day full back in the process. Despite some thinking he could be worth selling of late I'd be surprised if we could do much better than him, he's already got the capacity to be excellent and only has scope to improve. He’s suddenly clicked into gear in the attacking area and now looks like a huge player (Tommy Elphick huge). Been outstanding the last two games. Couldn’t be more pleased for him. sharkyvilla Posted March 11, 2022 Share Posted March 11, 2022 I thought it was a bit rum that people were saying he wasn't good enough and should be sold (as well as many other players in the team really). It was the system was asking the full backs to do too much, which then strangled the midfielders at the same time. Now the balance is much better, mainly as Gerrard sacrificed one of the number 10s.
