Of all our players, Cash is obviously the fittest. He can sprint up and down for 90 minutes and still be happy if there’s a 15+15 extended time.

He also always plays very much with his heart on the sleeve. Passion, what you want to call it, he has it. When Villa were in that awful five game losing streak and every player looked like they wanted to disappear, Cash was the only one to still keep running and trying every minute.

Totally agree with the heart on the sleeve bit, he plays with passion and energy every single game regardless of the teams form etc.

But Watkins is light years ahead in terms of fitness. The last two squad bleep tests Ollie has lasted for 20% longer than anyone else at the club, the guys an absolute machine.

Really? Had no idea, but Watkins also looks like a very very fit player.

Starting to add assists (and a couple of goals) to his game, which makes all the difference and was the only thing missing from his game.

If he carries on in this vein, he'll save us a load of money buying a new right back.

Agree, do not see us having to spunk up any monies in that position, taking Cash and his fast developing understudy into consideration, could even be a profit situation God forbid, something very alien !!

Massive improvement in recent weeks.

Cant help but think he should’ve waited a while before pledging allegiance to Poland.

Nah he could play like prime cafu, but while he's here he'd never dislodge Walker/TAA/James

That’s actually a good point.

Or maybe because the other 3 are regulars for the top 3 teams in the league?

so the people desperate to sell him are still OK with this?

Ludicrous touting him for sale regardless of the last two results. He's actually been one of most consistent players this season!

Amazed that anyone would entertain selling him other than for absolutely silly money, should be part of the core we plan the team around for the next few years. Has had a brilliant season for me

Same for me.  Sure, some of his crossing has been poor but other than that, he's been fantastic all season.

Easily our most consistent player across the whole season IMO, others have shone brighter at times (Ramsey, Coutinho) but I can't think if anyone who has come close to him for consistency
