I think he'd done a really good job on some of the stuff around Bodymoor and the staff there and I think his scouting network is a sound base for Unai's team to add to. His parting gift to us, Jhon Duran, might yet prove to be his finest achievement at the club. I had the pleasure of spending some time in his company at one of the supporters meetings and he talked really well about the way the team went about their scouting and the way in which his job worked and I was both impressed with him, and confused as to how that would work once all the new people were in place. Despite a section of folks slagging him off without actually knowing his remit in totality. Same goes for alot of other backroom and club staff. From Konsa right up to Pau, it's been far too much whoever the manager fancies. That's not how well run clubs do things. For every success of a Konsa, you'll get the bust of a Coutinho. Suppose as always, the risk is he takes some of our better backroom lot with him. That Fredrik lad will probably go. I don't think it'll be too difficult for Monchi to be better than him.
