We knew he was injured before we even put in a bid and presumably the deal would be structured in a way that we would be covered if he didn't recover. Where else would he train until things have been finalised, if he’s moving? Brentford isn’t the other side of the world, I’m sure he can make it before 5pm on Thursday. In fact if John McGinn set off down the M40 by lunchtime on Thursday, he could piggyback him to BMH by 5pm with time for a quick half in the Dog and Doublet on the way.
