On holiday at minute so not posted for a while but have to say as someone who said when Xia arrived I would give it a few months before judging him that so far he has delivered and some. 60+ mill in one window for a Championship club is unbelievable.

Over to RDM now to get these players to gel.

Happy with our business. To get rid of 16 players and bring 9 in, most of those with promotion experience is fantastic. The players need time to gel but that would've been the case whoever we signed. We wanted an overhaul, we wanted the shit squad out, we wanted Tony to prove he has the funds to rebuild. Well, he's achieved all of this and more for me. Well done Villa, over to RDM now.

Excellent work. Net spend of £35m or therabouts - for the Championship that is awesome. Must be the highest net spend.

*edit* Just checked on transfermarket and it is BY FAR the highest net spend. Next highest net spend is about £9m. Newcastle are roughly even between sales and purchases, if they do sell Cissokho tonight it will be a £30m profit for them this window (into Mike Ashley's back pocket)

We have also spent (Net) more than most of the premier league clubs!

There were some serious doubters when the takeover was announced but Big Tone has truly put his money where his mouth is. Imagine what next transfer window will be like if we get promoted.

All hail Tony Xia.
