villaglint Posted August 14, 2017 Posted August 14, 2017 It's crazy he's starting tonight. As Steve Bruce you have to know your balls are on the line and changes need to be made. What other option do we have in terms of attack to try and change things up? Guessing he'll go for Bjarnasson. Good luck with that!
villabromsgrove Posted August 14, 2017 Posted August 14, 2017 I think Bruce is waiting for Callum to have more Championship experience before he picks him. 1
Villarocker Posted August 14, 2017 Posted August 14, 2017 Should be starting this lad tomorrow night. We're clueless in attack so he needs to do something different and who else looks as exciting with the ball at his feet besides this lad? 1
HanoiVillan Posted August 14, 2017 Posted August 14, 2017 I suppose he's worked out that unless he gets a win tomorrow he'll be sacked (which I suspect is the case) and doesn't fancy trusting getting him out from under that to a 19 year old who has barely played 90 minutes of competitive football. I don't necessarily agree with the decision, but it's hardly incomprehensible.

Unfortunately I think it's also he kind of thinking that has got him in this mess in the first place.
DCJonah Posted August 19, 2017 Posted August 19, 2017 Hopefully he will learn his lesson about working really hard and playing well when he next gets his chance. Silly boy.

Ah, I misread your post, thought O'Hare had done something wrong being called silly boy. i like the look of him and definitely think he should be used this season but carefully. 2
HanoiVillan Posted August 19, 2017 Posted August 19, 2017 I'm sure he'll start against Wigan, if he puts in a performance in that game I would expect him to be making more match-day squads.
mikeyp102 Posted August 22, 2017 Posted August 22, 2017 Surprised no comments on him after tonight. Thought he played well again. Looks so bright and energetic. Always moving into space looking to make something happen. Was unlucky not to get on the end of a couple of balls when other players delayed a pass. Took a big hit in the face. Another who we'll see more of throughout the season, if maybe still not ready to start in the league
Villan4Life Posted August 22, 2017 Author Posted August 22, 2017 What a pass from Callum to set Hogan away on the match highlights. Sublime 1

Troglodyte Posted August 24, 2017 VT Supporter Posted August 24, 2017 Needs signing up on a new deal asap.
Wezbid Posted August 25, 2017 Posted August 25, 2017 The kid can play, but he certainly can't dress himself! 2 2
