El-Reacho
That's mad that Africa are now qualifying for the WC in 2018 and we've only finished qualifiers for the Euros.

Not exactly the best standard, but it's a lovely turn all the same. Also thank **** he's not injured.
HanoiVillan
End of the day, a goal's a goal, and strikers thrive on confidence. Banging one like that in won't have done him any harm at all.
VillaChris
This was a play off to get in main draw...they'll now draw 5 groups of 4 teams with winners going to Russia which I doubt the Africans are looking forward to... Anyway a break now with qualifying for AFNC starting again in March. If likes of Ghana and Senegal qualify that will hurt us in the January of next season. tinker Posted November 18, 2015 VT Supporter Share Posted November 18, 2015 The control from the pass in was very good, couple of these against Everton and I'm well happy

dont_do_it_doug.
Didn't he score last time out for them? I get lost with internationals, there's so many these days. Either way he's finding the net regularly enough. Bodes well.

Delphinho123
Give him a run of games as a central striker. I think he will get goals. I thought he was crap at first, but he's done really well this last few weeks.
Demitri_C
He is good player, I just think yet again sherwood never utilised him properly.
Guest av1
Whilst he didn't have much effect on the game due to being completely isolated, i thought his work ehic and attitude was first class. Probably the only player (along with Sanchez) to leave the pitch with his head held high. I like the lad.

VillaChris
Problem is today he couldn't hold it up at all. Against good centre halfs, a good team who could press he couldn't hold it up and so the ball kept coming back. He's not a lone striker in this league but then our good alternatives are awful aswell. To me you play him wide in a 4-3-3 or in a 4-4-2 he could play up alongside another striker. I think for next week I'd go with Gestede and Ayew and try and make it a narrow midfield. Start Sanchez and Bacuna. It does feel like shuffling chairs around the Titanic with these selections though, our squad isn't good enough for Premier league anymore.
Bunnski
I'd like to see him play in a front 2 with kozak and let Ayew have a free role to float about as he looks his best when he picks the ball up deep and can run at defenders, play a diamond in midfield behind them.
VillaChris
Yes that's probably our best bet for next week.
WooJung
I think it's rather obvious that playing him as a lone striker is not going to work.
