KJT123
It tells you a lot about the team that he came on, **** up a great chance, and was still the best player on the pitch. His style of play is very similar to David Silva.
Xela
Sounds like he's nearing full fitness and will be an important player when fit. He's got that touch of class
foreveryoung
Brought a bit of urgency to the game when he came on. Not enough movement in this squad for him just yet though. He was looking for a pass everytime he had the ball, but there wasn't much around so had to go back. Zippy little fella, im a big fan.

villa89
His style of play is very similar to David Silva. This. Build the team around him, he looks a really good creative player. Always wants the ball, always willing to show for it. He shows the glaring difference between how kids are coached in Spain and how they are in England. He's light years ahead of Delph, Rodwell, minler or any other english CM since Scholes in terms of being comfortable on the ball.

KJT123
Grealish - Gil - Traore It has to be the way we should start most matches this season. IMO, outside of the top 6, you're not going to get many attacking midfield trios better than that. Edited August 29, 2015 by KJT123

briny_ear
His style of play is very similar to David Silva. The hype on here about this guy is at absurd levels. I think Grealish will be first choice for the "No. 10" slot. I do think that Gil was wrongly booked for his alleged dive. Looks like there was contact. VillanousOne
I don't think it's hype at all, he came on and offered some threat and urgency and is very tidy and difficult to dispossess. not sure why people thinking that praising Gil means questioning the ability or playing position of Grealish or that both are competing for the same spot. Grealish, Gil are both class, lets get behind all of them, neither should be hyped above the other as they are very different players but they showed vs County that they have a sixth sense when picking each other out. Traore can be part of that golden triangle of talent as well. Edited August 29, 2015 by VillanousOne
Khizzy
I think we can accommodate Gil, Grealish and Traore in a 4-2-3-1 formation with Gil playing in the middle of the three. It should work quite well if they have two strong players behind them, Gana and Sanchez would be ideal.

Obviously he's nowhere near as good as Silva. But in the way he plays the game, he's comparable to Silva; agile, good passer, difficult to disposes, looks for the pass instead of the shot. villan501
Think Jack Gil and Traore behind Sinclair would work well Going to be hard to fit them in. Gil may have to play a little deeper next to Sanchez/Gueye and Westwood. Maybe link the midfield and attack. This is what i hope for sinclair shiuld play up top with grealish gil and traore think sinclair will get 20+ goals hes the only striker i could see getting 20+ goals he for me has to start uptoo next game. sne
Thought he did a good cameo yesterday, hopefully when he's fit he'll play a bigger part. Also agree about playing Sinclair up front. After the international break we'll have most players back to fitness and with players like Gil, Grealish, Adama, Gana... who all seem to favor fast passing and playing the ball on the ground I don't see the immobile heading specialist Gestede as a good option. foreveryoung
Wasn't that impressed by him, thought he should've moved the ball quicker at times. Did you see the full game? You couldn't have moved the ball any quicker (ok maybe Traore could) its the other players he passed to who slowed the game. An on that note, we need to play the game till the end. The last 10 minutes looked as though we were happy with the scoreline. There was no urgency to get the ball up top an still get the winning goal. From the very little I've seen I'd say Gil is the better player, of course it's impossible to judge really until they've both had a run of games

Traore moves with the ball fast, that's different from moving the ball. Gil drops a shoulder beats his man but then turns back. There were times when he could've put amavi and Hutton through quicker but took an extra touch, this slowing it down.

It's not hype, he just said his style is similar to David Silva. That doesn't mean he's anywhere near his quality it's just a comparison of style. Wind your neck in.
