I say we submit the following cheeky bids, cheeky bids, no harm done, you gotta chance your luck now and again .

Benzema - a cheeky bid of £2.5m and a contract of £10k a week, £50k per goal and £50k appearance fee. Cheektastic.

Vidal - a cheeky bid of £1.8m, and a contract of £20k a week, £50k appearance bonus, £5m after 20 league goals in a season, £5m after winning the league.Cheektacular

Ramos - Cheeky bid of £500k, basic wage of £15k a week, clean sheet bonus £50k a week, team of the season bonus £2m. Cheekorama!

You don't have much of a life do you? There are no need for pathetic sarcastic comments like the one above just because you disagree with someone's thoughts.

As I said, the move I suggested probably wouldn't go ahead, but there are possibilities that RM would loan out. Yes he is highly rated but they look to be spending 60m on someone playing in the same position and so may want him to get regular game time.

sky sports news again just saying that if lovren is on his way out of soton then a bid for vlaar is imminent

What are they going to reinvest the majority of the money they get for Lovren on him then?

because that's what it will cost Lambert has already said that Vlaar is not for sale

There's a host of players at big clubs who won't get any game time because of squad size. Isco will get less minutes than last year after Real's buys so why not ask the question of a loan? Apparently he's one of the most talented players of his generation yet isn't a regular for club or country. Big clubs don't tend to loan to each other and if a player is that good they won't want to sell so loaning out is the best option for player and club. Everton loaned Lukaku and Deulefou both talented players and one cost £17m so it does happen why can't it happen to us?

that means jack all.  Its the kind of thing any manager would say.

For example Vlaar is 29 and has one year left

Vlaar has an average world cup no one interested - Want to keep him yes

Vlaar has a good world cup there is some interest and an offer of 5M is made - Want to keep him yes

Vlaar has the world cup he did one or two teams are interested and we could get 10M plus for him - Want to keep him not so sure

Lukaku (teenager)came off the back of playing for West Brom, not a Chelsea starter by any means and Deulefou (teenager) had never played top flight football before so I can see them both being loaned out for experience.

Isco, on the other hand is a Spanish international footballer that cost €30m and played over 50 games for REAL MADRID last year just about to enter his prime years.

Can nobody see how ridiculous this notion is?

We are signing free transfers like Senderos, Cole and nominal fees for Richardson and people seriously think :

1. We would pay a loan free in the millions ( As everton did for Lukaku)

2. Pay £50k+ for a player who won't be here next year.

3. That is even if he would join us, he would pretty much have his pick of any club in fricking Europe.

This is madness.

It's called speculation RELAX!! and I don't think he played that many games but fringe players at top clubs who need game time are where we should be looking. Chelsea probably have about 6 we could loan or try to. That player may be out of reach but it's better to speculate about good players than crap ones!

I don't think any manager would want to sell their club captain, doesn't send out a good message, but this is Aston Villa everything we seem to do doesn't send out a good message.

When did Lambert say Vlaar wasn't for sale?

He issued a hands off warning for both Delph and Vlaar recently

Like Richard has said though every player has their price and value and i think anything from 10 mill upwards and Lambert will sell

However i can't think who we would bring in as a replacement they would definitely need to be a proven premiership defender though someone who can come in and hit the ground running

We won't be left with much change from 10 mill i don't think

Because Everton have more resources to spend on loan fees. Because Everton are an attractive club with a very highly-rated manager who is known around the continent as a progressive coach. Because Everton consistently finish in or around the European places these days. Take your pick I suppose.

Our last loan signing was Grant Holt but yeah, sure, Isco would be nice.

When did Lambert say Vlaar wasn't for sale?

vlaar delph etc are for sale, villa are a selling club, if spurs came in with 20-25m for the pair randy would get the cheque made out to him.

you can see lanbert presser now.."we thought it was a great deal for a 29year old player in his last year,& the boy delph has been terrific for aston villa"

Spot on because that's exactly what we did with Benteke last year and then he fired them to the title...oh wait sorry we never did sell him! Every club sells players but doing it only when it benefits your club is key and we usually do that.
