I am, or was, but I can’t watch the coverage and golf never could stirr the tribalism and emotion that could make or break my weekend. Only team sports could ever do that, I think, and this weekend has been exceptionally crap for the laundry* I support. *As per the Seinfeld joke.
StefanAVFC
I got with a girl on a night out, a friend of a friend. We spoke daily after that, had a 2nd 'date' a few days after. Carried on talking consistently. I replied to something on Saturday morning and since then she didn't even read what I said and has been online numerous times since. I've been randomly blanked by girls before, but never 'can't even be arsed to read what he said' blanked Proper rude.
rodders0223
Solicitors are useless **** words removed. Been chasing up purchase of a house since October last year, sent countless emails asking them if they require anything from me, if there is anything I can do to speed up the process, can we get things lined up like my help to buy ISA application etc etc. Numerous curt replies along the lines of "Mr Rodders, we don't require anything from yourself at this time, we will notify you further. Bye" Get a call from solicitors today asking me why I haven't submitted this that and everything and that they are waiting on me as seller wants to complete next week. GET ****!!!! All because we don't give them repeat or regular business.
Chindie Posted April 10, 2018 VT Supporter Share Posted April 10, 2018 Solicitors generally begrudgingly do residential conveyancing. It's a relatively simple process but long-winded, and is regarded as an area of law any non-specialist practice should be offering as an expected service, and clients don't want to pay much for it, which all combines to make the fees involved so small they tend to farm it out to less qualified staff (and the big names in conveyancing, who trade purely on volume, do this routinely as a factory outfit trying to churn them). The only real money in it comes from commercial stuff, and major purchases. Which brings greater risk. Combine that with the problems that come with working in a chain and the whole process is shit for everyone involved. It's doubly so for the solicitors as not only is it a shit process they make barely enough to make it worth bothering with on, if they **** it up, even slightly, it can cause enormous claims on their insurance, which in turn might actually put them out of business come renewal. We used to advise new start up solicitors not to touch conveyancing, it wasn't worth the risk and cost. Having seen some solicitors conveyancing claims, I'd probably put up with the delays in the hope they don't **** up (even if I'm as guilty as everyone in getting impatient with them). What you'll be seeing, is a big screen, showing you the concert that's happening 100 metres away. Going to a gig is like making love to a beautiful woman, I want to get good eye contact and be close enough to spit on each other.
sharkyvilla
It's the fees that piss me off about tickets. I'm buying tickets, you're selling me the tickets, it should be pretty straight forward.
villa4europe
Yeah ill pay that, last time i saw them they hadnt released their 1st album and i might actually have paid a tenth of that, not sure theyre actually that good live to justify the cost but i love their music, its not so much whether you like that band in particular its the prices getting out of control And i dont have trouble getting to the front (i do now have trouble surviving down the front...) head down the sides then wait for the first lively song to come on and just dart in, last gig i went to was liam gallagher and spent the oncore behind the people clinging to the barrier

Pranoid folk that they are my mums car keys are in a safe which I don’t know the combination to ... eventually I opened it after a combination of DOB guesses , Then managed to find some jump leads and get it going off my mums car .... then next thing I know there is smoke everywhere and the jump leads have melted and I’ve burnt my fingers having to get the melting live jump leads off the cars .. as the smoke alarm in their garage starts beeping away ... Meanwhile they are boarding soon and emailing asking me where I’m going to meet them as if I come in the short stay car park it will cost £4 ... it’s £4 not £40,000,000 next time they go away I’m changing my email address and teaching them how to use Uber ... either that or I’m sending them to Dignitas 1
