Gone under the radar a bit with Leicester imploding but I'd say them finishing 10th is biggest underachievement of season in premier league.

A season where they actually beat Liverpool, were in top 6/7 for pretty much whole season, have world class manager and spent about 500m since 2016.

Yet can't shake off that mentality of never pushing on when it really matters. At least we have the excuse of being newly promoted and losing Jack for three months.

Not really sure where they go from here and new stadium could easily impact them as much as it's needed.

Coutinho being their first summer signing would sum things up a bit.

2 places up from last season

Wouldn't be a bad result for them I don't think.

Get some money in and can get a guy in who can build for the future.

Ancelotti bringing in James and Allan on £100k each then finishing 10th isn't great work.

Instability at Everton is good news for us. Them and Spurs disappearing down the crapper while we sign Arsenal’s no 1 target would set next season up nicely.

for the money spent they've had a poor season. get rid of the manager but actually get some compo for him and get someone better in

they've got a shit business model...old players with little resale on big wages.

they should go for a graham potter or similar. no doubt they'll go big for conte

Who could Everton attract thats bettet than 3 time Champions League winner Carlo Ancelotti?

Money Everton wasted was a long time before Ancelotti came in

Nuno seems the obvious choice, he's been linked to them before, the fans probably wouldn't be too disappointed with him, he's done a better job than other names being linked like Lampard and Potter for example, and it would be a step up from his point of view from Wolves.

Instablity at Chelsea yet CL winners.

Stablity such an overrated concept purely because of Wenger and Ferguson who both were exception to the rule.

Roman basically have proven that for almost 20 years.

As long as the people at board level and owners know what they are doing and have a clear plan you can chop and change managers and maintain success.

I think Ancelotti has done a pretty rubbish job tbh. No building for the future, this could be a blessing for Everton.

Yeah possibly. I don't think their owners are really looking to build for the future judging by their recruitment policy over the past 3-4 years. They've made some shocking signings really.

the difference at chelsea is look at their squad, look at the players loaned out

they arent reliant on shit central midfielders bought 3 managers ago, they bomb them off, Everton dont have that luxury
