I had accepted he was too good to waste his time at Villa but Delph was our captain and had make 2 public declarations of loyalty in the last 6 months and now this. I'm disappointed but not surprised. Welcome to modern football where someone would rather count money from the substitutes bench than be proud at being the captain of one of the oldest and grandest names in football.
