Popular Post Mantis
Tom Cleverley will still get picked ahead of him. Well duh. Delph could score a hat-trick every week and Hodgson would still ignore him. Edited January 29, 2014 by Mantis
NurembergVillan Posted January 29, 2014 Moderator Share Posted January 29, 2014 I've said it a few times in various match threads, but he's the one player we've got who can beat a man with trickery and quick feet. With a good midfield around him he's top 4 quality.
The_Lions_Roar
Still trues to do too much and usually ends up over running it. Mind you I'm not surprised he doesn't want to pass to our other midfielders.

benireduk
Can honestly say that was one of the best strikes I've seen at VP. Was right behind it and can't think of many goals better. Certainly not in the last couple of seasons anyway!

ciggiesnbeer
Ignore that Woy! Of course he will. Hodgson is a loyal WBA man. No way will he select Villa players for the world cup. It doesnt really matter though, he will be sacked int he summer so maybe the next bloke will pick players on form.
maqroll
What's the current status of his contract? He's still young, and if he continues to improve and add to his highlight reel, I can see some clubs come sniffing around soon enough...

His one redeeming feature is he pissed off the media when he was picked ahead of Redknapp. Even that is getting a little old now.

GENTLEMAN
What's the current status of his contract? He's still young, and if he continues to improve and add to his highlight reel, I can see some clubs come sniffing around soon enough... He will not go IMO, he is a loyal lad and I get the feeling he really likes the club. I think (hope) FD will sign a new contract once we are truly safe. MrDuck
Seems to have finally turned into the player MON thought he could be. About time too. Let's hope England continue to ignore him.
